  • CNN’s new All Access tier offers live, on-demand, and written journalism for $6.99/month
  • Includes access to CNN Originals, live events, and subscriber-only reporting
  • A strategic move to deepen CNN’s direct engagement with digital audiences

CNN will launch a new digital subscription tier, CNN All Access, on October 28 in the United States, giving subscribers a single destination for the network’s live, on-demand and written journalism. The plan costs $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year, with an introductory annual rate of $41.99 available through January 5, 2026.

The new tier will include access to CNN’s US and international live programming, the CNN Originals library of more than 1,000 hours, new video-on-demand shows, and subscriber-only reporting on CNN.com and the CNN app. It will also offer live events and next-day access to CNN Original Series and CNN Films.

“No one covers the world like CNN,” said Alex MacCallum, executive vice president of digital products and services at CNN Worldwide. “With this new subscription offering, our audience will now have access to the best of CNN across platforms… in a format that reflects how audiences engage with the news today.”

All Access builds on CNN’s existing Basic subscription tier, launched in October 2024, which gives users unlimited access to written articles and exclusive features. Pay TV customers will be able to stream All Access programming at no extra cost, but will need a Basic subscription to read unlimited articles.

The launch marks a major step in CNN’s strategy to deepen its direct relationship with digital audiences and diversify beyond traditional television distribution. The company said the full schedule and content lineup will be available when the service goes live later this month.
